Late Wynand Wessels was one of the previous Presidents of
Northern Free State. He also served as Judges Officer from
1986 till 1998 and National President between 1998 till 2004 in
the Executive Committee of SAFPA. In 1998 he was awarded the
Hall of Fame Award. During his life he bred with a large
variety of pigeons but will mainly remembered for his quality
Dragoons and American Show Racers. Wynand was also an All Round
(Senior) Judge since 1991 and till he passed away he became one
of the most respected and active judges.

Hendri and Elize Botha. Hendri is the Vice-President of
Northern Free State and also the Region Representative on the
Executive Committee of the S.A. Fancy Pigeon Association. Elize, his wife, is the lady in charge of this region for catering to keep the men happy.

Munnik, Christo's wife is still very active in the hobby. She
had the honor of serving SAFPA as National Ring Master and were
the Secretary of the Northern Free State Region some years back.
She and Christo are now members of the Free State Region. She breeds Domestic Show Flights and has some of the
finest in the Country. |

Christo is also the National Editor of the Fancy Pigeon
Christo is well-known for his Birmingham
Rollers and nowadays a member of the Free State Region were he
serves as Vice President.
