Thiis part of the web site of the SA Fancy Pigeon Assoc. reflects very important issues of this rewarding hobby.   Visitors will not only read about the history of the Association since 1943, but will come to know those members that have rise above the average, either on club, region or national level. SAFPA wants to pay tribute in the words of John Ruskin to those that were and still are true leaders in the hobby, even if they were not awarded the ultimate Hall of Fame Award: 

" When we built let us think that we build forever, let it not be for present delight, not present use alone.
Let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for, and let us think as we lay stone on stone that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have taught them and they will say as they look upon the labour and wrought substance of them:
See! This our fathers did for us."
